RM of Star City No. 428 accepting applications for seasonal full-time Semi-truck driver. Position commence on or around May 1,2020-Oct.31,2020.
Requirements:
-valid 1A license with driver's abstract & criminal record check available
-experience & competent operating semi-tractor unit & wheel loaders to haul gravel/clay
-self motivated with strong work ethic, work long hours
-work hrs. in construction season start at 6am & require some evenings & Saturdays
-good organizational, communication & record keeping skills
-high attention to detail with strong values rooted in health & safety
-have steel-toe safety boots (other PPE supplied)
-First Aid, ground disturbance, PME & WHIMIS certificates would be an asset
-experience operating backhoes, rock trucks, skid steer & water truck would be an asset
-must be legally able to work in Canada, pre-screen drug & alcohol testing may be required.
