The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency is looking for a highly-organized, energetic, self-motivated individual for the position of Senior Policy Analyst. As a key member of the Legislation and Policy team, you will conduct strategic policy analyses, lead research projects, manage consultations with key stakeholders and develop research papers, briefing materials, Cabinet documents, and post-emergency lessons-learned reports.
Knowledge of public policy development, government decision-making processes, research and evaluation techniques, stakeholder consultations and project management are critical requirements of this position. Our ideal candidate will also have several years experience in strategic policy development, program design and/or program evaluation.
You will bring a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret policy trends and issues, set priorities to efficiently manage multiple projects, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively deliver information to varied audiences. You will be able to work both independently and as a team member with colleagues and stakeholders to consistently meet program and client needs.
