POSITION:   FOOD CLERK MELFORT  TEMPORARY CASUAL
               
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Receiving, examining and warehousing of grocery merchandise.
    To provide, good, efficient, courteous customer service.
    Performance of general housekeeping duties in warehouse and in front end as required.
    Assistance in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.
    To operate power equipment and garbage compactor in a safe, sensible manner and retrieve shopping carts.
    To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
     Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1)    Must be a self-starter and be available for various shifts including days, weekends and nights.
2)    Must have a valid drivers license.
3)    Must have the desire to learn and perform duties with minimum supervision after training period has been completed.
4)    Pleasant personality and good ability to work in a close environment with other staff and supervisor.
5)    Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50lbs.
