We Are: The Lloydminster Interval Home Society offers a supportive, healthy work culture and a competitive wage.  The Lloydminster Community Youth Centre is a robust program of the Lloydminster Interval Home and is dedicated to the well-being of youth.

Position: This a 16-week summer position commencing on May 11, 2020. The Lloydminster Community Youth Centre is a dynamic organization that offers an extraordinary range of services and activities to youth aged 12  18.  Reporting to the Youth Centre Manager, the Summer Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of the Centres Summer Recreation Program.

Responsibilities:
The Summer Program Coordinator will establish meaningful and genuine relationships with youth while gaining experience in program planning, budgeting, and record keeping. Duties include planning and supervising excursions including camping trips, canoeing, and other summer activities.  The successful candidate will be able to safely transport youth in a 15-passenger van.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education, and experience in Youth Leadership and Adolescent Development is required as well as a valid drivers license with a minimum of three years driving and insurance history.
Criminal Record Check and Intervention Check are also required.
