Hipperson Construction is a Regina based General Contractor recently expanding into Manitoba, we are looking for metal building erectors for a project in Portage La Prairie, MB. Candidates from Winnipeg will receive a per diem for driving to and from site. The site is operating on a 14/7 rotation.

Duties:
    Primary responsibility is to assist Site Superintendent in construction activities
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Erecting secondary steel framing systems
    Installing insulated metal panels
    Installing trims, flashings and accessories
    Installing insulation
    Operating man lifts
    Working at heights
    Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance at all times
    Create and maintain new and existing relationships with all levels of personnel within the company, clients, suppliers and subtrades.
    Other duties as directed.

Qualifications/Personal Attributes:
    Must be able to provide valid Fall Protection Certificate
        CSTS/SCOT Certificate must be obtained before starting at site
    Aerial Work Platform Ticket is considered an asset
    Welding certificate not required but considered an asset
        Pre-access drug and alcohol testing is required for this job site
    Efficient, detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
    Able to take instruction easily
    Punctual
    Must be able to physically perform the duties of this position including but not limited to; lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders and working at heights.
    Able to work in all weather conditions
    Teamwork oriented
    Knowledge of construction terminology and documents
    Experience working in the construction industry and an interest to develop skills in this industry is preferred
