Job Description: Under the direction of the manager of nursing, the RN will be responsible for administering hemodialysis and plasmapheresis treatments using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)

NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies.
IT WILL BE DESIRABLE IF YOU POSSESS A KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRINCIPLES, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN PERFORMING NURSING SERVICES RELATING TO THE TREATMENT OF PLASMAPHERESIS AND HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS. THIS KNOWLEDGE IS COMMONLY OBTAINED THROUGH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN HEMODIALYSIS. NEPHROLOGY NURSING CERTIFICATE PREFERRED.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO ALREADY TRAINED HEMODIALYSIS RNS.
Geographic Location: MULTI-FACILITY- HOME FACILITY - ST PAULS HOSPITAL
Expected Start Date: April 27, 2020
Expected Up To Date: April 28, 2021
FTE: 1.00
Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, On Call
In a 4 week rotation: 14 shifts of 10.10 hours, 1 shift of 8.00 hours
