Description

Here at The Atlas Hotel, our passion is to become Reginas favorite hotel. We are independent, locally-owned, homegrown, and pride ourselves on investing in our property, fostering an amazing team, and creating exceptional experiences for our guests.

We are looking for a full time Senior Accountant with at least 5 years experience. A CPA designation and previous hotel experience is not required however it would be considered an asset. Your primary day-to-day responsibilities include items such as:
*Processing and overseeing bi-weekly payroll
*Calculating and processing GST and PST payments
*Preparing month end financial statements
*Processing cheques and Electronic Funds *Transfers (EFT) to suppliers
*Preparing annual hotel budgets with each department
*Performing year-end review with our accounting firms audit team
*Reviewing, issuing and approving T4s for hotel staff


The successful candidate would manage two other members of our accounting team: an Accounting Assistant and Accounting Clerk and would also find themselves taking on additional projects or duties as deemed necessary by management.

Experience with Sage 300 and Payworks would be considered an asset, however we are willing to train the right candidate.
