Description

Position and Responsibilities
Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse team responsible for supporting all of Camecos Saskatchewan operations.  

In this role you will assist in managing material masters and inventory to efficient levels in order to support Camecos Mining and Fuel Services divisions.   You will be responsible for data analysis, evaluating min/max levels in inventory, as well as determining critical or significant items.  You will investigate and make decisions to correct surplus and obsolete inventory and you will consult with operations and specific departments to determine courses of action in accordance with Cameco's disposal of assets policy when required.   You will maintain records and provide reports to various stakeholders on stock out, closed work orders and other requests and issues that require attention.   You will assist in meeting project and site goals that are designed to improve operation efficiencies, improve service levels, and reduce inventory, as well as operation costs.

Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
    A two year diploma or certificate in materials management or accounting
    A minimum of six years work experience in purchasing or inventory management or other related field
    Strong computer skills with a high level understanding of Microsoft excel and word.
    Strong SAP (or similar computer software) experience
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
    Commute to site by aircraft when required

Assets:
    Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP)
    APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
