Full-time Position
Position Summary: The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for all aspects of maintenance including repairs and alterations to the school, school grounds, and board owned teacherages and this includes school division operated vehicles. This position is supervised by the Supervisor of Facilities and Maintenance.

Qualifications:
1.    Journeyperson  Plumber, electrician, carpenter or pipefitter preferred and/or relevant experience/education will be considered.
2.    Firemans Certficate and/or Boiler certification preferred.
3.    Certication/Experience in operating Power Mobile Equipment (Skid Steer, Tractor)
4.    Demonstrated ability to work independently, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
5.    A positive, friendly and approachable disposition.
6.    Class 5 Drivers Licence is required.


Salary & Beneifts: As per CUPE Local 4607 Agreement
