Central Plains Co-op is recruiting for the full time position of Agro Operations Assistant (Seasonal) to be based out of the Rosetown Agro Centre. The Agro Operations Assistant will take a leading role in assisting the operation of our Agro Centre, assisting with inventory management, operating and maintaining our fertilizer blending facility and crop protection warehouse, be dedicated to exceptional customer service, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently, as well as a member of a highly motivated team.  

Duties will include but not limited to:
Operate and maintain our fertilizer blending facility
Operate and maintain our crop protection warehouse to AWSA standards
Work with Fertilizer Manager, Crop Protection Manager and Agro Division Manager to ensure product is well organized and is being coordinated with customers for delivery and pickup
Assist with inventory management
Assist with deliveries, piloting and equipment maintenance (internally & rental fleet)
Ensure a safe working environment for customers and staff
Assist in all areas of the Agro Division business

What you will need:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Candidates must be willing to obtain a forklift and skid steer license
Must possess a positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Previous experience in an ag retail is considered an asset

This position may lead to a permanent position.
