We are seeking a suitable candidate for the position of logistics clerk/ admin staff in the pulse plant.
Responsibilities would include:
Providing coordination in the delivery of contracted commodities
Negotiating transportation rates
Establishing & maintaining seamless customer relations
Data entry in a customized computer program
An ability to work as part of the overall company team is essential
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task
Strong oral and written communication, planning, decision making and problem solving skills are essential qualifications.
Experience in grain industry
Make purchase contracts
Arrange pickup and delivery of trucks
Arrange delivery of farmers
Be able to weight trucks on scale
Ability to do administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing, responding to emails, daily office managements tasks
