Highline Manufacturing,a division of Bourgault Industries, is looking for an experienced, creative and hands-on Design Engineer to join our team in Vonda, SK! This position involves all aspects of product design, including concept development, 3D modeling, prototype assembly support, testing, production support, and marketing support.

The focus of Highlines R&D Engineering team is to design unique new products and make improvements to existing products in order to add value and solve problems for our customers. Highline is one of few Western Canadian agricultural equipment manufacturers that design self-propelled equipment, with our Accumix line of feed mixers.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop models of new product components or modify existing products/components
- Communicate with vendors
- Support prototype assembly and testing
- Plan production releases and provide production support
- Design tooling for products
- Communicate with dealers and customers for feedback and input on product
- Participate in marketing events
- Provide field service support

Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering degree
- Minimum of 3 years of design experience
- Project management experience
- A strong knowledge of current farming practices and related technology (experience with cattle, design of livestock feeding equipment, and/or design of self-propelled equipment)
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar software
- Experience with Algor or similar FEA packages
- Ability to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to think critically and analytically to solve problems
- A good balance of practical experience and proven creativity
