Description

Manage workflow in the pharmacy and co-ordinate the activities of all pharmacy employees.
Study market research and trends to determine customer demand; potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales.
Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the Meadow Lake Co-op Pharmacy.
Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers, health care professionals and advise them on signs, side effects, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices according to Federal and Provincial Law.
Come up with innovative ideas to promote the Meadow Lake Co-ops Pharmacy brand image.
Ensure proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums; biological and other drugs and pharmaceuticals.
Supervise the proper disposal of medical waste and expired prescriptions.
Willing to partake in external pharmacy support programs.
Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies.
Maintain medication profiles of customers.
Be of help to customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication.
Who you are:
You have completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
You are licensed to practice and are in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals or eligible for registration.
You have two (2) or more years of prior experience in a Community Pharmacy.
You have a strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving skills and with good attention to details skills.
You have experience supervising a Pharmacy team.
You are professional and brand-oriented with a friendly and positive demeanor to model a strong customer focus.
You are willing to participate in various managed care initiatives (osteoporosis, diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension &asthma).
You look for continuous improvement through optimizing work processes.
You are action oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
