This position will provide the opportunity for an outgoing and community-oriented student to work in a collaborative environment while playing an integral role in bringing arts and heritage to the people of Estevan and southeastern Saskatchewan. This job will include assisting and developing gallery and museum workshops and outreach to communal partners and the general public.
The successful candidate for this position should have educational and practical experience in museology, museum studies, Canadian history, fine arts, and/or art history. Any previous knowledge or interest in contemporary art, museum collections or community engagement is an asset. The candidate should be outgoing, energetic, organised and people oriented. Knowledge of Windows office suite is essential to this position. A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle will be required. You must have been attending full time studies at a post secondary institution in the January - April semester and returning full time in the Fall to be able to apply for this position.
