This position will be primarily responsible for receiving clients, for providing reception duties and other support to the Executive Director and other staff of the PAMC, including but not limited to:
- Plan and deliver innovative multicultural activities and programs for children and youth aged 7-12 yrs old
- Plan, develop, organize and deliver day camp related activities
- Communication with parents/ guardians and other clients
- Supervise participants during activities
- Demonstrate and promote safety at all times
- Receiving and directing incoming telephone calls and walk-in inquiries
- Compiling and formatting reports, invoices, etc
- Creates and prepare Evaluation reports/ survey forms
- Assistance with PAMC social media sites ex. website, Facebook page etc
- Assists with Canada Day and Tapestrama Festival preparations and managing activities on the event day
- General cleaning in coordination of other PAMC Staff
- Other duties as assigned by the Event Manager/ Executive Director
This position will report to the agencys Executive Director and Event Manager. Excellent communication and client service in English is a must, as is knowledge of the community. Additional language skills would also be an asset, as well as experience with diverse cultures and cultural sensitivity. Typing and computer skills are a must, as well as experience using social/internet media.
