Cultural/ Summer Program Workers
The Prince Albert Indian & Metis Friendship Centre is now taking applications for summer students for the month of July and August
Position Summary
The Summer Program Workers report to the Executive Director in the absence of the Centre's Program Director. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the Centre's summer program activities. The position will assist the Program Coordinator in overseeing the work of volunteers and setting up programs for children.
35-40 hours per week
8-10 weeks
Job Requirements
-The ability to plan and organize your work without supervision is necessary
-Hours of work must be flexible as you may be required to work evenings and weekends
-Must have demonstrated skills in supervision
-Should have demonstrated skills in working as a team member
-Valid driver's license is necessary
-Knowledge of a First Nation language would be an asset
-Must have leadership skills
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work with children
Qualifications
-must be coming from school prior to summer
-Must be going back to school in the fall
-Must be able to obtain a clean CPIC
-Must be under 29
-Must be of Metis Decent
-Must have a valid drivers licence (no restrictions)
