City View Farms is a moderate sized farm located west of the City of Moose Jaw. We are a multi-generational family owned and operated farm that is passionate about grain and cattle agricultural. We are a forward-thinking team that uses both technology and proven agriculture principles to run our operation.
We are currently seeking a full-time employee for year-round work. Duties include operating and maintaining various types of equipment including tractors, air drills, sprayers, combines, large trucks and grain trailers/cattle liners, augers, and for general farmyard work. Duties could also include feeding cattle in the winter months, checking and repairing fence and assisting in other areas of cattle management.
Applicants must be reliable, honest, self-motivated and responsible. They must have the ability to work independently with little supervision, but also work with others as required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have good attention to detail, work efficiently and complete physically demanding tasks. The position includes lots of opportunity for overtime hours. Mechanical ability is an asset and a Class 1A license is required. A min of 2 years experience in running a combine is preferred. Driver's Abstract Required. Preference is for 3-5 years experience. Must be a resident of Canada.
