Description

Kinsmen Manor is a facility that offers support and assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities. We are currently looking for causal Housekeepers.Elmwood offers paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Maintain a high standard of sanitation and housekeeping
-Responsible for regular laundering and maintenance of personal clothing items and linens.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Knowledge of handicapping conditions
-Certificate in laundry department equipment operation
-Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications and experience
-Basic sewing skills and the ability to run a sewing machine
-Excellent English oral and written communication skills
-Physically fit and able to perform all duties
-Must demonstrate concern and interest in providing high quality service for residents.
