Job Summary
Working out of the Facilities Management Department in Humboldt, SK, the Carpenter will provide centrally delivered maintenance to company projects.
General Responsibilities
Completion of centrally delivered facility management projects including truss repair
Ensure that all work is of high quality and meets codes and professional standards.
Obtain all the required permits.
Emergency response to system, equipment, or structural problems
Provide support to the Facilities Management Department
Operate basic tools
Comply with all Bio Security and Animal Welfare protocols
Maintain a safe work environment
Leave all work sites clean and tidy
Attend centrally organized training programs.
Other duties as required
Education/Experience Required
Construction experience is an asset; a journeyman ticket is not required but is an asset
Ability to work independently, be safety conscious, and self starter
Effective time management skills
Hold a valid drivers license
Transportation/Travel Information
- Willing to travel regularly
- Valid driver's licence
