Description

The Water Treatment Plant Operator (Level I) is a support position reporting to the Supervisor of the Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater and Sanitation of Cowessess First Nation with overall accountability to the Director of Facilities & Infrastructure.  This position will work cooperatively with the Water Treatment Plant Operator trainees and Water Truck Driver to ensure service delivery is monitored and completed on a regular basis. The WTP Operator will be responsible for ensuring proper orientation of water and sewage processes, pumps and chemical feeders as well as prepare chemical feed solutions. The WTP Operator will assist in cleaning water tanks, cisterns and the water truck tank, as well as mix chemicals and assist with bottle filling for customers.
