Description

Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services is now inviting applications for a permanent full-time, Human Resources Technician for the community of La Ronge. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Coordinator, the Human Resources Technician will implement personnel management policies, practices and procedures on matters of staffing, classification, wage and salary administration, staff relations, employee benefits, staff training and development, human resource planning, grievances, performance appraisals, discipline and recruitment.

Duties:
    Support Human Resource Coordinator with all transactional HR functions;
    Advise managers, supervisors & employees on all HR matters, including incentive, benefits, and training programs.
    Monitor HR-related documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance to organizational processes.
    Adhere to and enforce policies pertaining to the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual;
    Coordinate staff recruitment and selection processes, as outlined in the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual;
    Respond to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries from clients, managers, coordinators and staff.

Qualifications:
    Minimum two (2) year diploma in Human Resource Management with three (3) years recruitment experience;
    CPHR Designation an asset;
    Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered;
    Excellent computer skills;
    Must be very professional and serve as a role model to all employees with the utmost professionalism, discretion and confidentiality;
    Ability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines;
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to resolve conflicts tactfully, objectively and with understanding;
    Must have a valid class 5 drivers license;
    Current Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening and Drivers Abstract required upon hire;
