Description

Co-operatives have a long history of serving members in Western Canada. In the early 20th century, people worked together to create retail co-operatives in many towns in the four western Canadian provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia). The Meadow Lake Co-op was established March 2nd, 1945 with the opening of our first location, located on First Street East. Meadow Lake is a community of just over 6000 people in northwest Saskatchewan, serving a trading area of 35000 people.
Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of a Service Centre Clerk.

The Service Centre Clerk is responsible for attending to all needs in the Service Centre. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty.

Job Description
Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet their needs.
Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service.
Bag purchases customers for delivery.
Stock and rotate products on display.
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source.
Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
Keep track of incoming stock with the use of bar-code scanning equipment and maintain stock inventory.
Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.

Job Requirement
Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Available to work a variety of shifts including week-ends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to and at times in excess of 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
