We are looking to hire summer positions at the Boys & Girls Club of Yorkton. To meet funding requirements priority will be given to youth ages 15 through 30. A Summer Programmer will work with Middle Years children and youth ages 5 through 12. They will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of quality programming during July and August. Programming may be offered virtually, face to face/in person or a combination of both depending on Government guidelines and restrictions. Duties include managing COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures, providing creative programming, leading activities, tracking participant information and attendance, providing feedback, fostering the development of children, and acting as a positive, responsible role model to those we serve. The Summer Programmer will have contact with children and youth, parents/guardians, co-workers, community partners, and volunteers. They will interact with partner organizations, other agencies, media and the community at large. The individual must possess strong communication skills, leadership skills and be an active member of our team.
Program shifts vary between 7:45 am and 5:15 pm Mondays through Fridays.
Hours will vary between 35 and 40 hours per week.
