Description

The Human Resources, Assistant is responsible for delivering operational and value-added human resource services at Eden Care Communities and its subsidiaries.
The HR Assistant will:
    Provide administrative support including generating reports and filing
    SNIP champion  adhering to government regulations, maintaining employee information and applications
    Leave management  updating notebook, following up with employee for required paperwork
    Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
    Ensure on-boarding packages are kept up to date and relevant
    Assist with recruitment needs including but not limited to pre-screening and reference checks
    Quickly and accurately respond to internal and external inquiries.
    Maintain internal procedure manuals and tools.
    Completing Personnel Action Request
    Completing all Offer letters and Letter of Appointment
    Aiding the HR Generalist and the Learning and Development Specialist
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Plan, organize, prioritize and accurately complete multiple tasks while dealing with frequent interruptions and tight timelines.
    Work independently and as part of a team; and
    Be thorough, conscientious and attentive to detail to ensure quality work
    Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information
    Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
    Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders
    Exceptional accuracy, detail and organizational skills

Education
    Diploma in Business Administration
    Diploma in Human Resources or related field is an asset
    Minimum 1 to 2-years working experience
