In business since 1982, Affiliated Auto Wrecking has been under new ownership since 2007. We carry all kinds of parts for all makes of cars and trucks including used, aftermarket, and new parts.

We are seeking a Scale Attendant to join our team.

Job Summary:  

The Scale Attendant provides exceptional customer service, unloads material, and sorts and weighs material in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  
    Greets customers and assists them with their needs
    Unloads customer materials
    Weighs and separates material to ensure accurate payment to the customer
    Enters customer data into the system as required
    Performs house-keeping/cleaning duties as assigned
    Bales and packages materials for processing
    Processes sales as required  
    All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

    Ability to take direction as required
        Computer skills are required
    Superior communication skills
    Previous experience in a shop environment is a strong asset
    Previous experience performing welding duties is a strong asset
