Description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the HR administration of the White Buffalo Treatment Centre, at the White Buffalo Treatment Centre facility located just 15 min SE of Prince Albert on Muskoday First Nation.  The HR Manager is responsible for implementing, evaluating and maintaining systems and processes of human resources and day-to-day operations. The manager directs and leads the human resources activities including job requirements and job descriptions, performance evaluations, compensation and benefit plan administration, recruitment and selection of employees, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

Qualifications:
Post-Secondary degree/diploma with a major in Human Resources Management and two (2) years work as a manager, or supervisory experience.  

Other Requirements:
Professional Designation:  Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)  is an asset
Proficiency in the use of computer skills and programs including accounting, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, e-mail and internet
Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation on Employment Standards, Occupational Health & Safety, and Human Rights
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in report & proposal writing is an asset
Ability to work under pressure
Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Experience working with Boards is an asset
Commitment to personal wellness
Valid drivers license
Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations culture and language
Submit to a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
