Prince Albert Grand Council (PAGC) is actively seeking to recruit casual Registered Nurse Practitioners (NP"s) for Hatchet Lake Denesuline Nation, which is a remote fly-in community. Shifts will range from one week or more, depending on need and availability. Accommodations are provided, included return air fare from either Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or LaRonge.
Qualifications
*Registered with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses. Association (SRNA) as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
*Possess an in-depth knowledge to order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals, manage and treat acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions.
*Must possess the following emergency courses:o Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
*Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
*International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
*Minimum five (5) years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
*Ability to competently use electronic medical records (specifically Med Access)
*Ability to adapt to changing conditions/situationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
