This job share position will be responsible for developing and delivering student support activities for students in the Adult Basic Education program on the Nipawin campus. Duties will include academic, career, employment, financial and personal advising on an individual basis and in group settings working in collaboration with the other full-time advisor and outreach worker, and as part of both the ABE and Learner Services teams to help with student retention and success. It is expected that the advisor will be flexible to provide services face-to-face or remotely via technology as determined by student needs and accessibility to campus community. A work schedule and roster of duties will be worked out in collaboration with the other part-time advisor and with the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: A minimum four-year university degree, specifically in the Behavioral Sciences or Human Services fields with preference for a degree in Social Work.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the advising, social work, or educational fields.
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required.
