The successful candidate will have;
- A background in developing programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities
- At least Level 2 training with the ability to develop programs from a comprehensive behaviour support plan. A willingness to complete Level 3 through CLSD
- Familiarity with Person Centred Plans and ability to develop programs associated with the plans.
- Has worked with people with Intellectual Disabilities and has a Rehabilitation Certificate or equivalent experience.
- A background in supervision of staff and the ability to schedule staff
- Ability to work with individuals to establish their own personal businesses of a product for resale
- Ability to assist with the promotion, marketing and packaging of products
- Knowledge of website development would be an asset as we will be establishing an online store to market products; this position will be the lead on that development.
- Assist in fund raising and event organizing
- Well organized with strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong reporting skills
- Weekend or evening work may be required
- Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
