We are seeking an innovative, highly motivated individual to play a pivotal role in researching, acquiring and developing technology solutions to meet SaskCentrals business needs. If you are a seasoned professional with proven technical, analytical and strategic thinking skills this may be the position for you.

The Job
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for the architectural design, development and deployment of SaskCentrals overall systems. You will investigate and define new and enhanced technology solutions based on user needs, cost, risk and required integration with existing applications. Using your interpersonal skills, you will build and manage relationships with technology suppliers. You will also lead the implementation of technology security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in accordance with industry standards. You will develop annual budgets and contribute to strategic and operational direction. In this role, you will provide effective leadership, coaching and clear direction to your team members.

The Candidate
You will have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, combined with five years of progressive leadership experience. A project management designation is an asset. You will have an in-depth knowledge of technology risk and security, including cybersecurity. Technology security credentials would be an asset. You will have an in-depth understanding of the information systems environment and emerging technologies. You will have strong relationship building and management skills, and your effective communication skills will allow you to discuss technology in terms all individuals can understand. You will have extensive knowledge of change management processes and the ability to lead and sponsor change. Experience with the credit union system and/or financial services sector would be an asset.
