Facility: Community Mental Health
Job Description: The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population at a more independent level, reflective of Graduate level training. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct service, consultation, community resource development and education.

The Social Worker, MSW reports directly to the Transition Lead, Mental Health & Addictions or his/her designate.

Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Masters Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Minimum 2 years supervisory in Adult MHA as well as minimum 2 years work experience in Adult Community Services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Extensive knowledge of and ability to deliver preventive, treatment and maintenance therapy programs
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Ability to facilitate educational and skill development groups.
A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity and responsibility
Ability to collect, record and report comprehensive client information accurately in verbal, written and electronic formats in accordance with professional standards and guidelines
Proficient in computer software (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Outlook)
