Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will be part of a team of technicians installing fibre optic cables to Multi Dwelling Unit and Business buildings. Technician should be able to work well with his hands, basic hand and powered tools to complete task.
Long term work available with opportunity for advancement and career development.
Duties of the technician include:
Maintaining a safe and clean worksite
working on your feet for most of the day
working inside and outside
installing raceway moulding, conduit, EMT
pulling in fibre optic cables
interacting with building residents, building managers and public in a professional manner
CANDIDATES WILL REQUIRE
Clear Criminal Background check
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Previous hands on work experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
First Aid
Telecommunication or electrical wiring experience
Skills and Abilities
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

- Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
