What youll do:
The Bakery/Deli Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing all aspects of the Bakery/Deli department operations while maintaining a profitable department, high quality products and superb service levels.
You will ensure team members and team leaders are following recommended programs, guidelines, policies and procedures while respecting safety and asset protection standards and Food Safety guidelines.
You will implement marketing ideas and encourage employee engagement while keeping guest service standards consistently high.
You will be responsible for budgeting, tracking inventory, managing expenses, monitoring productivity and administering the talent management program.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Bakery Deli Management and:
You have a grade 12 education with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in leading a team and a minimum of 3 years management experience. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. Supervisory and management experience in the retail food industry is considered an asset.
You have completed or are willing to obtain the Bakery/Deli Advance program
You have solid judgment and decision-making abilities while communicating with customers and team members.
You have excellent organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
You have a flexible schedule and are willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
