We have an exciting opportunity for someone to have a direct impact on our community. Reporting to the Director of Transit & Fleet, this position is responsible for the management of the Transit Operations and Training Branch within the Department of Transit and Fleet, including operational and program planning, stakeholder relationship management, financial management and people leadership. The mandate includes providing direction to all activities related to transit operations, route scheduling, operator training and special requests for transportation service. This position is responsible to manage and ensure day-to-day transit service and operations including bus operations and route schedules are managed in an efficient and economic manner that meets the needs of the City of Reginas Transit customers. As a member of the Departments management team, this position leads and/or participates in Transit and Fleet or City-wide projects and special initiatives.
