The Hudson Bay Primary Health Care Clinic operates as a primary healthcare group practice where physicians provide services in the community of Hudson Bay and surrounding area. The Town of Hudson Bay has an integrated health facility with acute care and long-term care, as well as 24/7 emergency services.
Job Duties: Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures, consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, prescribe and administer medications and treatments, provide pre-natal and post-natal care, advise patients on health care, report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities, communicate health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention to patients, Perform patient advocacy role, provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues, provide emergency care, participate on institutional committees.

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Degree in Medicine, Completed Family Medicine Residency Training Program
Experience: No experience required, but considered an asset
Security & Safety: Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage, A valid Saskatchewan driver's license, Criminal Record Check
Credentials: Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
Salary Details: As per the Saskatchewan Primary Health Care contract pay grid (Level 1: $301,517 annually (subject to change)).
