Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of Cashier.
The Cashier is responsible for attending to customers in the Grocery store. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty.
Reporting to the Assistant Grocery Manager, the successful candidate will:
Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service in the grocery store.
Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their sources.
Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
Operate cash register and computer for electronic transactions.
Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.
Job Requirement
Strong work ethic and positive team player attitude.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Available to work a variety of shifts including week-ends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to and at times in excess of 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
