Description

Cupboard Brothers Cabinet Factory in Regina Saskatchewan is looking for an experienced commercial cabinet and mill work estimator. This position will be responsible for developing timely and accurate project cost estimates for custom commercial cabinet and mill work projects. Costs are determined using architectural drawings, specifications, and job specific requirements. Estimators utilize a variety of computer software applications to develop the bids and subsequent proposals.
Job Responsibilities:
    Provide project cost estimates using industry practices and experiences
    Identify and document errors and omissions found in bid documents
    Use Cabinet Vision software and ProjectPak estimating software
    Analyze and evaluate specifications, drawings, blueprints and other information to accurately prepare material and labor estimates
    Assemble bids and submit to clients and contractors
    Self-starter and ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time
    Provide excellent customer service and align all practices with organization objectives
Qualifications and Required Skills:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinetry,millwork, carpentry or a similar industry
    Working knowledge of custom cabinet & millwork fabrication
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to read blueprints, interior design, and architectural drawings
    Demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a team
    Technical experience in construction, bidding, and estimating
    Perform basic math functions with accuracy and consistency
    Have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook and operate basic office equipment, (Cabinet Vision and ProjectPak proficiency preferred)
    Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure, deadlines, and rapidly changing priorities
    Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
