Description

The Saskatchewan SPCA is an animal welfare organization based in Saskatoon, SK.  We focus on animal abuse prevention and humane education; we do not operate an animal shelter. We work to protect the victims of violence and their animals; improve the lives of homeless pets; support a happy, healthy retirement for police dogs; educate the public on the importance of the human-animal bond; and advocate for improved animal welfare legislation.

Use your skills in videography to help improve the welfare of animals in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will help create video content for a variety of marketing and educational purposes. The content may include instructional videos, interviews, webinars, live streaming videos, and video blogs. (Video equipment will be supplied.)  
  
Responsibilities and tasks:  
    Shoot and edit video footage
    Upload content to websites
    Collaborate with staff on the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies  
    Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:  
    Good communication skills
    Creativity
    Attention to detail
    Experience or training in use of video cameras
    Familiarity with the use of Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere  
    Work or volunteer experience in the animal welfare sector is an asset

Interviews for this position may be conducted via Zoom or in-person, depending on applicant preference.
