Description

The City of Moose Jaw is seeking to fill our permanent Cleaner position. Under the direction of the Facilities & Buildings Supervisor the Cleaner is responsible to perform various duties related to the cleaning of City Complex.

This position will perform the following duties:
-    Vacuuming
-    dusting light fixtures, walls, bookshelves, books, counters, etc.
-    washing walls, doors and windows (inside & out)
-    sweeping, mopping, waxing and polishing floors
-    cleaning fixtures and bathrooms
-    emptying garbage
-    shampooing carpets, seats and chairs
-    maintaining pleasant and harmonious relations with the public and co-workers

Qualified candidates will possess:
-    Grade 12 or equivalent education
-    Experience with and knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
-    Ability to work shift work and work without direct supervision
-    Eligible to be bonded
-    Valid Class 5 driver's license with a vehicle for use for work purposes
-    Physical ability to perform assigned duties
