The Computer Operator works behind the scenes with data entry, computer maintenance and troubleshooting as the key responsibilities. Maintaining inventory accuracy is an important aspect of this position.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter and maintain data
Perform back-ups & upgrades
Adjust data/inventory/pricing information
Activate and deactivate and maintain promotional deals on schedule
Print signs, labels and merchandising lists, where applicable
Coordinate price changes with sales floor staff after making adjustments
Ensure that all computer equipment and cash registers are in proper working order & arrange for maintenance, repairs, upgrades & system recovery
Run reports & troubleshoot
