Global Food and Ingredients (GFI) is a fast-growing Canadian owned and operated food and ingredients company. GFI specializes in green and red lentils, yellow and green peas, Kabuli chickpeas, canary seed, flaxseed and edible beans. GFI has ambitious goals and our team is key to our success.
Located at our Zealandia facility, the Cleaner/Operator role will be responsible for tasks associated with receiving, processing, handling and shipping of specialty crops, as well as general labour in and around the facility. The position will contribute to a safe and healthy environment at the facility, clean and well-maintained physical facilities and positive working relationships with colleagues, producers, truckers and other business partners.
This position will also involve working afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
