The Salvation Army Gemma House is seeking casual youth care workers interested in working on a call in basis. Ideally, candidates will possess experience working with at risk youth. struggling with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. Training is provided.
Applicants must be available to work evening,
weekend, holiday and overnight shifts. Candidates will possess a valid driver's licence, a current CPR-1ST Aide certificate and be prepared to take Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)and Suicide
Intervention Training. Successful applicants will also be required to present a recent Criminal Record complete with vulnerable sector check and a recent Driving Abstract.
STARTING WAGE IS $18.00 per hour plus vacation pay. Only those selected for interviews will be contacted. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
