Job Description: The Administrative Assistant, Practitioner Staff Affairs is primarily responsible for administrative support in the Practitioner Staff Affairs department.  
Required Qualifications

Certificate/diploma in office administration
Experience
Minimum 3- 5 years experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee information
Ability to learn new methodologies and apply those concepts in Lean improvement initiatives
Ability to remain calm and focused during peak periods of activity, deadlines and stress and ensure deadlines are met
Ability to cope effectively with stressful situations
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Ability to assume responsibility and work independently
Ability to develop, coordinate, and prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
Other Information

Must demonstrate initiative and be self-motivated
Willingness to work flexible hours and days and to accommodate meetings and events outside of regular working hours
Knowledge of, and experience in the Saskatchewan healthcare environment is an asset

The incumbent will coordinate duties with the Manager of Practitioner Staff Affairs and will operate with a degree of independence in completing assigned tasks.  

Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to respond to internal and external inquiries as appropriate.  Building and maintaining effective working relationships with physicians and other departmen
