Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall development, management and leadership of various interdisciplinary teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders, as they interact with the project. The Project Manager facilitates and provides detailed planning, costing and ongoing consultation that is comprehensive and collaborative, aligning with regional strategic planning. This individual is also responsible for administrative management of physical and financial resources.
Required Qualifications

Trained in Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and guidelines with eligibility PMP Certification
Experience
5-10 years of experience in project management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Effective time management and organizational skills
Demonstrable skills in tact, diplomacy, and leadership
Knowledge of financial management including budgeting, long term planning, capital projects
Ability to be flexible and willing to adapt to change in workload and priorities
Proven skill with risk management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to the construction of facilities and associated contracts is an asset
Team-focused approach to work and communication style
Knowledge of, or familiarity with healthcare organizations, clinical operations or facilities/maintenance is an asset.
Knowledge of information technology design, programming and implementation is an asset
