We are seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in our Regina Head Office. As the Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine testing of grain samples.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine testing, sizing and weighing of grain samples.
Prepare daily samples for inspection.
Sort and file all required documents and samples.
Record results in log book and maintain records of samples and data logs.
Maintain cleanliness of the lab including equipment, floors and counters.
Assist with receiving, sorting and distributing grain samples.

Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail oriented and proven organizational and time management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.

Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a lab setting would be considered an asset

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
