Description

We are currently looking for Casual Staff at Kinsmen Manor. Candidates must be available for all shifts including Days, Evenings and Nights

Duties include:

Personal Care, recording and reporting, attending appointments, recreational activities and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- Completion of Grade 12 and/or equivalent qualifications

-Must possess a Rehab Worker Certificate/diploma or Special Care Aide/Continuing Care Aide/Disability Support Worker Certificate

- Candidates must hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license and have a good driving record. Out of province applicants may be required to provide Driver's abstract

- Must be willing to drive a wheelchair van (after training)

- Must possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to understand and follow written direction and/or direction provided verbally over the phone

- Flexibility, patience and the ability to cope with unpredictable or aggressive behaviors

- Self directed with demonstrated sound judgement and the ability to independently problem solve

- Clear current Criminal Record Check must be provided at point of hire and upon request

Preferred Qualifications:

-Food Safe Certificate

-CPR/First Aid

- experience in providing personal care

- experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
