Description

Lean Machine is searching for an experienced press brake operator to set up and operate press brakes during our evening shift that operates Monday to Thursday, for 10-hour a day, from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. We are looking for a highly focused individual that can thrive in a busy fabricating environment. The ability to read instructions represented in drawings, schematics, etc. and follow them with precision is essential. This individual will make sure machines are correctly set up and working well in producing quality products.

Responsibilities:
    Interprets blueprints and engineering drawings correctly
    Sets up and operates a machine by established procedures and guidelines
    Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately, and in a timely fashion
    Able to work with close tolerance specifications bending and forming parts to specification
    Ability to use various pneumatic and electrical power hand tools
    Assists in the performance of troubleshooting on the machine when required

Qualifications:
    Ability to read and follow written directions and understand shop drawings including all relevant information such as dimensions of the part, bend angle, radius, blank size, and tolerances
    Knowledge of measuring tools such as Vernier caliper, tape measure, ruler, square, angle gauges
    Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail and work within precise limits and standards of accuracy
    Good understanding of math and quality control principles
    Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
    Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
    Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines
    Previous brake experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
