TOWN OF LANGHAM
ASSISTANT FOREMAN

The Town of Langham will be accepting applications at the below noted address for the position of Assistant Foreman until 5:00 p.m., July 21, 2020 The Town plans to fill the position as soon as possible.

Scope:    The Assistant Foreman is responsible to the Town Foreman under supervision of the Town Administrator.

Function: Under the direct control of the Town Foreman, an Assistant Foreman shall carry out duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

    Grade 12 education or equivalent
    Valid Class 5 drivers license
    Physically fit
    Mechanically inclined
    Ability to operate or learn to operate motorized mechanical equipment
    Experience in the operation of a grader
    Has or is willing to take necessary courses that will enable you to qualify as a Utility Operator
    Possesses leadership skills

Responsibilities:

    Maintain efficient and proper use of transfer station facilities
    Operation, maintenance, and minor repair of light motor vehicles and light motorized mechanical equipment
    Heavy manual labour
    Other tasks as assigned to provide public works service to the community
    Managing public works operations

Wage starting at $39,560.64  - $49,450.80 depending on experience. Benefits include a standard SUMA benefits package.
