In order to help Pattison Agriculture fulfill its mission:Through teamwork and innovation, we partner with our customers who help feed the world, we are looking for a Marketing Assistant, to be based out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations, on a temporary full-time basis. This position will start as soon as possible & will be approximately a 12-month term; with the possibility of extension.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the Marketing department in carrying out marketing initiatives through participation in events, compiling research, completing necessary documentation, editing/auditing & producing materials and/or reports.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
Compile industry, market & demographic research, including focus groups
Develop & update written material (Web content, reports, articles, presentations)
Design promotional content (ads, posters, social media content, videos, etc.)
Prepare weekly/monthly summary reports on team activities & company exposure
Administer & organize project files, articles, etc.
Assist with administering intranet (creating, updating and posting content)
Assist with event coordination & execution
The ideal candidate will ideally have recently finished an undergraduate program in Commerce, Business Admin or Communications program (focused in marketing, PR, journalism, writing or a related field of discipline); have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must have video recording/editing and graphic design skills.
