Construction Foreman  Saskatoon
North Prairie Developments is seeking an experienced individual to join our expanding team as Construction Foreman. The position requires a highly motivated and competent individual who values cleanliness, safety, quality control, and professionalism.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years related work experience and is a natural team player. The candidate must have knowledge of current construction means, methods, and hand and power tools.  Furthermore, the candidate will have the ability to consistently accomplish and exceed goals as well as the ability to communicate effectively while working with urgency and accuracy.  The position requires the ability to work within tight deadlines while remaining flexible to change under pressure. Trade certifications are preferred, however on-going enrollment in the Carpentry Apprenticeship Program is an asset.

Main Duties
Prepare new homes for the final day of possession.
Perform carpentry work such as minor framing of doorways, basements, decks, etc.
Perform interior finish carpentry work including drywall patching and painting, etc.
Complete general cleaning of units; inside and out.
Co-coordinate construction schedule with the Site Superintendent to manage quality and on-time delivery of projects.
Ensure the safety of workers and equipment.
Manage subcontractor interaction with other trades.
Other duties as required by Site Superintendent.
